First Things First 
"But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you." Matthew 6:33

I'm sure you have learned, as have I, that following directions is important.  Instructions are not to be randomly followed but in the sequence they are given.  To achieve the desired outcome, first things really do come first. 

As we enter this new year, it's good to remember what comes first.   Here's some things to consider:
-Seek God's kingdom first...by following Jesus and enjoying a personal relationship with Him.

-Fill your heart and mind with God's word...by daily exposure to the Scriptures.

-Worship God...by opening your heart before Him and expressing your love and adoration for Who He is and what He has done. 

-Talk things out with God...by praying without ceasing. 

-Serve God...by loving others and addressing their needs ahead of your own. 

Simply keeping Jesus first sounds easy, but we live on a battlefield not a playground. 
So daily put on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18) and stand strong in the Lord.  Put faith over fear; thanks over doubt and rejoicing over worry.
