"Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him Who loved us!"

Our culture is taken back by the excitement of a championship. Much of that excitement centers around the competition and successful completion of a season of football, basketball, baseball or hockey.  Yet, though the "game is on" and a champion will be rewarded, it remains only that - a game. 

But there is something far more important in life...Who is the true Champion?  Who has overcome death, sin and the grave? Who reigns as Lord of heaven and earth?  Who will stand in the final battle and be universally known as the King of kings and Lord of Lords?

Only one, God's own Son, our Savior, Jesus Christ!  In Him we receive forgiveness and grace; pardon and restoration; life and that more abundantly.   It is in Christ that we are overcomers, victorious through trials, tests and tough times!

So celebrate the love of God that surpasses all human understanding and know His work is done. Celebrate the True Champion, now and forever!
