We've Got Everything We Need!
"Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord, as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness..." II Peter 1:2-3
Scripture is very clear: Everything we need to live the Christian life has been provided! We don't start with a deficit but a deposit. We don't have to work things up since in Christ things have already been worked out. The Christian life is not about how hard we try, but is dependent upon the One Who died and rose again - Jesus!
The start, the journey and the culmination of our life in Christ rests upon what Jesus has done for us. God is fully able to save those who put their trust in Jesus. God is fully committed and has already provided "exceedingly great and precious promises that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature."
(II Peter 1:4)
Don't let the enemy deceive you, rob you or threaten you. You are an overcomer in Christ!
The price has been paid at the cross, and in that cross we glory. What the enemy meant for evil doesn't stand a chance in light of His undeniable victory!
Rise up, look up, and share the Good News with all who will listen!
