Uttermost!
"Therefore He (Jesus) is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them." Hebrews 7:25
There's no almost when it comes to Jesus! His death, burial and Resurrection completely accomplished all that was necessary for our salvation. His sacrifice was the ultimate price paid for us to be reconciled to God and cleansed from our sins.
Jesus is the "Lamb of God Who takes away the sins of the world." There's no ifs, ands or buts...the cross declares the payment for our rebellion "paid in full". There's nothing to add to what Jesus has done. Such good news means that when we repent from our sins and believe on Him we are saved to the "uttermost".
Jesus is fully able to turn our lives around and bring hope, peace and meaning to our lives. Jesus is fully faithful to save those who turn from sin and believe on His name. Jesus is fully aware of our need for Him and today calls us to seek Him while we still can.
Walking with Jesus means living life to the uttermost! Have you received Him as your Savior? (John 1:12)
Grateful for Jesus,
