Christmas Certainties
"Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel." Isaiah 7:14
The Scripture is very clear regarding the birth of Jesus and resounds with certainties!
Jesus Christ would be born with the most identifiable reality, His conception was miraculous. His mother, Mary, "was found with child of the Holy Spirit". (Matthew 1:18)
This fact was verified to her betrothed husband Joseph, by the angel of the Lord in a dream..."do not be afraid to take to you Mary your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit. And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins." (Matthew 1:20-21)
Jesus is fully man and fully God! There has never been and will never be another like Jesus. Because of Who He is His mission and ministry stand unique in human history. His birth was miraculous, His identity unmistakable and His purpose undisputable!
Christmas Certainties: Jesus is the Son of God Who came to bring salvation to all who will believe on His name! There is no other Savior. He alone is the incarnate Word, born in Bethlehem, born of a virgin, born to die, born to rise, born to save you and me!
