Residency
"I pray that from His glorious, unlimited resources He will empower you with inner strength through His Spirit. Then Christ will make His home in your hearts as you trust in Him. Your roots will grow down into God's love and keep you strong."
Ephesians 3:16-17
God sent His Son Jesus, to dwell among us and accomplish what was impossible needed for us to have a personal relationship with Him. Taking our sins upon Himself, Jesus established the means for our restoration to God. His Residency on earth provides the opportunity for our residency in heaven.
By believing on and receiving Jesus and repenting of our sins, He takes up residency in our hearts, dwelling in us by His Holy Spirit. He's not distant, He's closer than anyone else in our lives. He's our reliable and righteous Houseguest!
This truth is life changing as He is seen working in us, transforming and renewing us day by day. He is serious about being with us, being in us and being for us. Joy results as His "glorious resources" provide peace, power and promise!
