Choose Life
"Today I have given you the choice between life and death, between blessings and curses...Oh, that you would choose life, that you and your descendants might live!"
Deuteronomy 30:19 NLT
God makes His position perfectly clear: Choose Life!
In a world filled with confusion and strive over the tragedy of abortion, it is clear from a Biblical perspective that as His followers, we are pro-life - standing for the unborn who have no voice of their own.
As an adoptive parent, I rejoice for the decisions made by the two incredible women that chose to "choose life" and by doing so, played an integral part in God's plan for their children and our family. The joys and blessings that are a part of our family, point directly to the wonder and importance of such choices.
As the Psalmist wrote:
"You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother's womb. Thank You for making me so wonderfully complex.
Your workmanship is marvelous..." Psalm 139:13-14
Life's choices can be complex and difficult, but when comes to life itself, the choice is clear!
