Peripateo!
"But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, His Son, purifies us from all sin."
I John 1:7
It all comes down to your walk...
It's been said that our walk speaks louder than our talk. If we live out our love for Jesus and His love for us, the result is amazing. Not only does the light of His glory shine through us, but we have fellowship with other believers.
Consider the Greek word
"Peripateo", meaning "to tread all around"; "to walk"; "to conduct one's life". John uses this word over and over in his letters to believers. See I John 2:6 where we read: "Whoever claims to live for Him must live as Jesus did."
Paul uses this word as well, reminding us of the importance of our walk. [See Galatians 5:16; Ephesians 5:2 & 8; Colossians 2:6.]
-"Walk in the Spirit"
-"Walk in the way of love"
-"Live as children of light"
-"Continue to live your lives in Him"
His love and strength provide not only the model for our lives, but also the means to do so...
So walk it out boldly in Jesus!
