"Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth." I Timothy 2:1-4
Today, and every day, we as the Body of Christ call on the Lord, asking for Your will to be done and for Your kingdom to come.
We ask for Your intervention in the lives of those who have been given opportunities to serve in positions of authority; for our government leaders; for civil authorities; for all those in law enforcement; military service; and judicial oversight.
Today, we ask for hearts to be turned, softened and surrendered to Your Lordship as we turn from and repent of our sins and disobedience.
May the nations be purged of antisemitism; hatred in all its forms; the horror of sex trafficking; the scourge of drug abuse and violence, and the disregard for the unborn.
We ask for renewal of faith, for recognition of Your Word and for healing in every dimension of human brokenness.
Today, we acknowledge our need for You Jesus, and humbly ask for forgiveness, forth rightness and fortitude to be the salt and light in our world.
