"From childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures,  which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus." II Timothy 3:15

I had the blessing of being raised in a Scripture saturated home.  From a young age, the Scriptures played a role in our family life. This was due to parents and grandparents who took seriously their faith and their commitment to Jesus.

Like Paul's commendation regarding Timothy,  genuine faith can be modeled to the next generation.  Paul wrote:
"...I call to remembrance the genuine faith that is in you, which dwelt first in your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice...Therefore I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you..." II Timothy 1:5-6

We can only give away what we possess.  If we are saturated with the love of God, grounded in the Word of God and transparent about His transforming power, those close to us will be impacted.
Though we can not dictate the response, we can direct the input for the good or our children, family and friends.

"Teach me, O Lord, the way of Your statutes, and I shall keep it to the end.   Give me understanding, and I shall keep Your law; Indeed, I shall observe it with my whole heart." Psalm 119:33-34

Decide to be saturated in the Lord and to be a student of Scripture!  The impact could change the world!
