Prescriptions from Philippians
"Do all things without complaining and disputing, that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in this world, holding fast the Word of God."
Philippians 2:14-16a
Chronic complaining or arguing are not to be traits that characterize the Christian life.
Though things don't always go the way we want them to, we can express our concerns in prayer and choose to be grateful. Since Jesus is Lord, we can trust Him even in times of testing and trial.
As children of God, we have peace knowing He is at work in our lives even when situations are difficult; circumstances are concerning or expectations aren't met. Speaking words that give life to those around us, instead of grumbling, reflects the light so needed in our world.
Letting our words be seasoned with genuine gratitude and encouragement can make such a difference.
As Paul reminds us: "Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each other." (Colossians 4:6)

As always a great reminder that we are to be grateful instead of a grumbler.
