Perfect in Weakness
"But He said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness.' Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest upon me."
II Corinthians 12:9
The Apostle Paul certainly had many experiences that he could have boasted about...His conversion and calling; his visions and visits; his writings and witness of the miraculous.
Yet in all the troubles Paul encountered in service to Christ, he could look back and see, in his weakness, a grace beyond words and wonder.
He knew that when we are weak, God is still strong!
It's not how strong we are or how well we do, we are always dependent upon His grace. In every circumstance the Lord remains reliable, relevant and resourceful. He can be depended upon!
Take heart and draw near to Jesus and let His power be made perfect in you today.
